Aceşti bărbaţi minunaţi au fost omorîţi pentru în Hristos în vremea răului Diocleţian. Ei au fost bătuţi cu sălbăticie, apoi arşi pe grătare de fier, apoi legaţi de cozile cailor şi tîrîţi peste cărări de spini şi bolovani. Astfel fiind sfîrtecaţi, ei şi-au dat sufletele lor sfinte în mîna lui Dumnezeu. Sfintele lor moaşte se află la Pentapolis.
