Acestia s-au nascut în Siria si erau frati dupa trup. Ei II predicau pe Hristos pe fata, dînd la iveala nebunia idolatriilor elina si romana. Paginii i-au urît de moarte pentru aceasta si au hotarît sa-i omoare cu pietre, dar cînd au început sa arunce cu bolovani în ei, bolovanii se întorceau si-i izbeau, în timp ce mucenicii ramîneau neatinsi. In cele de urma cei doi frati dupa trup si dupa duh au fost rastigniti pe cruce. Pe cruci tintuiti fiind, ei nu încetau a-i învata pe crestinii din popor strînsi acolo, care plîngeau dupa povatuitorii lor. Dupa agonie prelungita ei s-au înfatisat cu sufletul înaintea lui Hristos, el Caruia I-au ramas credinciosi pîna la sfîrsit. Ei au luat mucenicia cu cinste la anul 300 dupa Hristos, în cetatea Bofor [sic].
