Оваа девица беше ќерка на еден идолски жрец Клеон, човек богат и надмен. Заради верата во Христа татко ѝ ја избрка од куќата и од градот. Двајцата чесни граѓани Авкт и Таврион го укорија Клеон за нечовечното однесување кон ќерка му, заради што тој ги обвини како христијани. Беа луто мачени и обезглавени заради Христа. Потоа ја мачеа и ја убија Тесалоникија. Пострадаа во македонскиот град Амфипол, близу денешната Кавала. Така овие маченици се удостоија со бесмртното царство страдајќи чесно.
