Виктор беше роден римјанин, а по занимање војник. Мачен за Христа во времето на царот Антонин. За време на неговото мачење една млада жена Стефанида изјави дека и таа е христијанка. Виктор го убија со меч, а Стефанида ја растргнаа врзана со едната нога за врвот на една палма, а за другата за врвот на друга.
