Ο Άγιος ιερομάρτυρας Μαρκιανός χειροτονήθηκε επίσκοπος από τον Απόστολο Πέτρο και στάλθηκε στις Συρακούσες της Σικελίας. Εκεί ο Άγιος με την προσευχή του κατέστρεψε τους ναούς των ειδώλων. Και δεν έκανε μόνο αυτό, πραγματοποίησε πολλά θαύματα, με αποτέλεσμα να πιστέψουν πολλοί ειδωλολάτρες. Όμως την παρρησία του Αγίου δεν μπορούσαν να την υποφέρουν οι φθονεροί και χριστοκτόνοι Ιουδαίοι και τον θανάτωσαν με βίαιο θάνατο.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week

- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
