მღვდელმოწამე მილი, სპარსელი ეპისკოპოსი და ორი მოწაფე მისი ამბროსიმე და სინი IV საუკუნეში ცხოვრობდნენ. მილი სპარსელი იყო და ქალაქ სუზაში ქადაგებდა. შემდგომ დაუცხრომელი ღვაწლისთვის იგი ეპისკოპოსად იქნა დადგენილი. ნეტარმა მრავალი ტანჯვა და შევიწროება დაითმინა წარმართთაგან, სამი წლის შემდეგ კი იძულებული შეიქნა, სამწყსო დაეტოვებინა. მილი მრავალი წმიდა ადგილის მოლოცვის შემდეგ კვლავ სპარსეთში დაბრუნდა, სადაც საპორ II-ის მიერ ქრისტიანთა დევნისას მახვილებით განგმირეს. წმიდანთან ერთად ქვებით ჩაქოლეს მისი ორი მოწაფე: ამბროსიმე და სინი. უფლის რჩეულები 341 წლის 13 ნოემბერს ეწამნენ, მაგრამ რადგან ამ დღეს წმიდა იოანე ოქროპირი იხსენიება, ეკლესიამ მათ მოსახსენებლად 10 ნოემბერი დააწესა.
