მღვდელმოწამე ნიკანდრე - მირონის ეპისკოპოსი და ერმე ხუცესი წმიდა ტიტე მოციქულის (ხს. 25 აგვისტოს) მოწაფეები იყვნენ, მანვე აკურთხა ისინი სამღვდელო ხარისხში. დაუცხრომელი ღვაწლით უფლის რჩეულებმა მრავალი წარმართი მოაქციეს ქრისტიანობაზე. ამისთვის ისინი შეიპყრეს და ქალაქის თავ ლიბანიოსთან მიიყვანეს დაკითხვაზე. მტარვალებმა ვერც ცბიერი შეგონებებით და ვერც მუქარით ვერ გადადრიკეს წმიდა მოწამეები მაცხოვნებელი სარწმუნოებისგან, რის შემდეგაც სასტიკად აწამეს: ცხენზე გამობმულები ათრიეს, სხეულები რკინის კავებით დაუგლიჯეს, გახურებულ ქურაში ჩააგდეს. მაგრამ მარტვილებმა უფლის შეწევნით დაითმინეს ის, რისი დათმენაც ადამიანური ძალებით შეუძლებელია. ბოლოს ჯალათებმა მოწამეები ორმოში ჩაყარეს და ცოცხლად დამარხეს.
