Venerable Demetrius of Basarbov in Bulgaria (1685)

The Monk Dimitrii of Basarbovsk pursued asceticism in the wilderness, in Bulgaria, near the city of Ruschuk. He died in 1685. On 8 July 1779 his relics were transferred to Bucharest.
