Der Eifersucht und dem Hass seiner Mutter, Ludmillas heidnischen Schwiegertochter Drahomira, ausgesetzt, zog sie sich nach Tetín zurück und wurde 921 auf Drahomiras Veranlassung von zwei gedungenen Mördern auf der Burg in Tetin erdrosselt.
