В същия ден празнуваме паметта на светите мъченици Капитолина и Еротиида. Тези свети жени живяха по време на царуването на Диоклетиан, когато управител на Кападокия беше Зеликинтий. Св. Капитолина произхождаше от богат и знатен род, но тя раздаде на бедните цялото си имущество, а слугите си пусна на свобода. Заради това, че е християнка, езичниците я хванаха и я затвориха в тъмница. После я принуждаваха да принесе жертва на идолите, но като видяха, че тя няма да се подчини на нечестивата им воля, посякоха я с меч. (Нейната блажена кончина е била ок. 304 г).
